Must it be always Passat? The new VW Golf Variant in the test

Dead straight, the road to wind turbines along the lush green expanses of the Netherlands. Quite nice, but in the long run almost a bit boring: What is true for the landscape, somehow fits well for VW Golf Variant. We have already driven the new edition of the charge master.

Though unsurprisingly the utility when combined Golf is in the foreground, the VW designers are apparently close to an orgasm: "much more dynamic" is the design of the new variant, "more emotional" wanted to bring into the optics. For VW design boss Klaus Bischoff, it is even "the most beautiful Variant, we have ever had". My blood pressure is fortunately in the normal range, as I start a tour of the Golf Variant. Unmistakably the relationship is for Golf sedan, a nice detail is molded in family style D-pillar. Economical set plate folds can be reprinting in fact look harmonious than the slightly chubby predecessor, although the optics do not worry still for palpitations. But that's not the point, like a sober look at the facts shows.

A little bit of what goes on

However, hardly a combi driver will probably be car clutter until it stops.
